We are looking for positive, friendly, and motivated Budtenders to join our team! As the face of Garden City Cannabis Co, our Budtenders will be key players when it comes to our brand experience. Our Budtenders will help to create an inviting and compassionate atmosphere that aims to welcome everyone, no matter your experience level with cannabis.

The responsibilities will include:
•        First and foremost, deliver the highest level of customer service and experience
•        Greet customers when they enter the store and answer any questions they may have in regards to our products (in accordance with AGCO compliance)
•        Ensure safety and satisfaction of all customers
•        Confirm that all who enter the store and purchase product are of legal age
•        Prepare and process all store sales transactions through our POS system
•        Fulfill online "click-and-collect" orders (when needed)
•        Maintain in-depth knowledge of all strains and products in store inventory as well as industrywide product and trend knowledge
•        Participate in team trainings, meetings and educational seminars to further develop cannabis knowledge and expertise
•        Assist in restocking of shelves, counting of inventory, and/or displaying merchandise (when needed)
•        Provide feedback to management on customer experience and product inventory
•        Adhere to all operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives
 
 QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
•        Qualified Cannabis Worker, completed your provincial CannSell training an asset
•        Previous retail experience an asset (especially cannabis retail)
•        Able to pass a Criminal Background Check and provide proof of completion
•        Must be dependable and reliable
•        Strong organizational skills
•        Strong communication skills
•        Strong interpersonal skills
•        Ability to work independently and with others
•        Self-driven
•        Minimum 19 years of age
 
Budtenders must provide the following:
1.    Copy of driver’s licence for age of verification
2.    Copy of recent Criminal Background Check
3.    Copy of Cannsell certificate

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.55-$17.00 per hour (based on qualifications)
